I have a very positive personality and always meet people with a smile. I'm nearly qualified BSc Adult Nurse and since 2011 I have been providing service for vulnerable adults with mental health, learning disabilities, alcohol misuse, dementia, alzheimers, end of life and complex needs, in terms of their behaviour and emotional, psychological and developmental well-being.
I am also adept at money management, personal care (washing, dressing, stoma bag and catheter care, nails cutting, changing pads, hoisting). Encouraging independence-shopping trips, cleaning, feeding(peg feed), preparing meals. Taking vital signs and blood glucose checks to prevent deterioration, urine deep stick. Medications, venepuncture, dressing change, escalating changes to GPs and nurses.
